He had hoped to see some Bison but all he got was some pictures with Mommy and Daddy and a fence post.
North Dakota was surprisingly beautiful. Lots of rolling green prairies. They definitely had had lots of rain and we saw a few areas of flooding.
We stopped for lunch in Jamestown, ND and got the Jameses (or should it be Jamesi?) picture with the sign, which was somewhat misleading. We saw at least two Jameses, but still no buffalo.
James took out some frustration from being in his car seat for so long on his rabbit (named Swedish, in honor of the place they met). Here he hugs him, then puts him in a headlock, then tries to eat his ear. Then he tries to pretend like nothing happen. Swedish looks exhausted.
And so were we. We drove 437 miles on day 3 and stopped for the night around 5pm in Alexandria, MN. Sleeping in an actual bed never felt so good!
